Angel Tree is an outreach ministry at Christmas time in which gift cards are made up with a needy child's gender and gift needs indicated on the card. The angle-shaped cards are then displayed on a small tree. Sponsors take one of the cards, buy a gift, wrap it, and bring it back to church to be given to the child designated on the gift card. "...I was in prison and you visited Me..." -- Matt. 25:36

Forward Bible Camp Campership Tree Drive is a local ministry outreach in which we set up a small tree with envelopes hanging from it that have the gender and grade level of a child who would like to attend Forward Bible Camp (up above Georgetown, CA) in the summer but need financial support to do so. Sponsors take the envelopes off the tree and place a partial or full payment needed for the child indicated on the envelope to go to camp. Last year we were able to send 13 children to camp! "...allow the little children to come unto Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these..." -- Mark 10:14

Food Closet a local food ministry of Calvary Chapel in which 80 to 90 families who are under financial hardship are provided with food on a weekly basis. The food closet is open on Tuesdays at the church lower building and in open from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. This is an exellent way to reach out to our community in the love of Christ, supporting the Spiritual and staple needs of our neighbors. "...I was Hungry and you fed Me...thirsty and you gave Me something to drink..." -- Matt. 25:35

Bible Give-a-Way Days usually happen twice a year during the late summer and fall months. A group of believers from Calvary Chapel go to the Founder's Day at Georgetown and to the Annual Craft Fair in Placerville, CA, handing out Bibles and tracts. Some people have even asked for prayer when handed a Bible. "...for You have magnified Your Word above all Your Name..." -- Psalm 138:2

Heaven's Gifts of Love/F.O.C.U.S (Followers of Christ United Service) is a Non-Profit, New-and-Used Clothing Shop in Garden Valley, CA. Anyone in need may come in and pick out clothes at no cost to them. Volunteers from various churches on the Divide operate and support the shop in Garden Valley. "...I needed clothes and you and you clothed Me..." -- Matt. 25:36

Samaritan's Purse Shoe Boxes are made up at Christmas time for children all over the globe. Patrons from our church take one or more boxes and fill them with items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, washcloths, soap, deodorant, school supplies, and small toys or books for the child indicated on the box, then return the boxes to church. We then forward the boxes to Samaritan's Purse for distribution. "...that which you did to the least of these brothers of Mine, you did it to Me..." -- Matt. 25:40
