Jesus Loves you! |
ISRAEL: God’s Land, God’s people, and the one place on earth where the Bible comes to life! It has often been said, “two weeks in Israel is worth a year in any seminary.” I whole-heartedly agree. My understanding of the Scriptures (not to mention my Bible teaching), world history, current events, Bible prophecy, and God’s relationship with His Land and people have all been revolutionized since my first visit. Now it has become a goal and mission of Calvary Chapel Georgetown Divide to conduct tour groups of pastors and members of their congregations to Israel. It is our express desire to provide enrichment in Bible knowledge, facilitate direct contact with the land and people of Israel, enhance a Christian worldview, and broaden understanding of Bible prophecy. We believe firmly in the Bible’s declaration that God has made an everlasting covenant with the Jews, especially concerning their status as His people and the land of Israel as His Land. So, for us, visiting Israel means far more than walking where Jesus walked, it also means blessing God’s people in God’s Land. Upcoming Tours, 2010-2011
IMPORTANT: Our "Footsteps of the Apostles" and Israel tours are quite physically demanding. You will be daily walking considerable distances over uneven ground, ascending and descending hilly trails and long stairways, and traveling long and winding roads by bus. Because of the rigors of our tours, you should make sure you are in good physical condition before our departure date. Most sites visited by our tours do not have handicapped access. Please consult your Doctor before registering if you suffer from back or leg-related ailments, car or air sickness, or any chronic illnesses.
Future Plans
- ROME, Italy (Dates TBA): A study tour of Rome, Pompeii, Capri, Florence, and more, with an emphasis on the Apostle Paul, the persecution and spread of the church, and the Reformation. Stay tuned for details!
