Children are our most precious treasure and joy. Their smiles and laughter can light up any room; their innocence and simplicity can shame the most virtuous grown-up. Our children are the future of the church and the future guardians and messengers of the Word of God and Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even Heaven itself belongs such as these. Thus, at Calvary Chapel, ministry to our children is our most enduring and significant of all our ministries.
In our Children's Ministry, our children...
- are taught the Scriptures verse-by-verse, through the Bible, that they may know and understand the truth of God in context
- worship the Lord in song, as singing is both inspirtational and instructional, as children sing, they are reminded of the love of God
- learn to pray, so that they will know and understand that Jesus is always there,that He listens to them and loves them
- are more like the Lord Jesus Christ now than they ever will be this side of heaven, and therefore are encouraged to take joy in their youth
- are the express example the Lord Jesus has set before us as to how we all must receive the Kingdom of God
