Online New Believers Bible Study :: What the Bible Says About? :: List of Churches

Piece

If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so now. You can pray this prayer, and if you are really sincere, you will experience a new life in Christ.

"Father God, I believe Jesus Christ is your Son, the Savior of the world. I believe He died on the cross for me, and He bore all of my sins. He paid the price for my sins. He took the punishment I deserve. I believe Jesus was resurrected from the dead and is now seated at your right hand. Thank you for Jesus and His finished work at the cross. By faith I trust you to help me live a life that pleases and honors you. Forgive my sins, save me, come to live inside me. I want to be born again.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

It's a New Life

A Few Things You Should Know...

1 Peter 1:3-8 says it all. God's abundant mercy has assured you hope for your future through Jesus. You are now a child of the Lord's and your inheritance of eternal life with Him is guaranteed! Until then, He is with you and will always protect you . He loves you !

Even though all of us have sinned (Romans 3:23) and the results of that should be death (Romans 6:23), God has prepared for this through His Son (Romans 5:8), and after being born again (John 3:3) we can now have a real life, the best possible here and in heaven (John 10:10).

Having believed, you have received the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). Learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life by reading Romans 12. Depend on the Holy Spirit to overcome sin and experience its power in your life (Ephesians 3:20 and Acts 1:8). As you grow, you'll understand more of God's love ! (Romans 5:5)

Talk to God all the time, anywhere (1Thessalonians 5:17-18) because He will bring answers and direction for your life. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings; in all ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Prayer is powerful! (James 5:16)

Just as you need to eat to grow physically, you must also feed yourself to grow spiritually (Matthew 4:4). Read your Bible, His Word will light your way (Psalm 119:105). "Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you." (James 1:21-22)

Now, as a believer, not only does sin no longer rule your life (Romans 6:6-7) but you have also been set free from the condemnation of sin and guilt (Romans 8:1-2). Read 1 John 1:9 and Psalm 119:9-11 for the way God wants you to handle your sin and disobedience.

But watch out! Satan wants you to doubt God's love for you> and His forgiveness of your sins (Revelation 12:10). Don't worry, God's assurance comes to us in 1John 1:6-10 and Philippians 1:6. And He won't let go ! "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:11-13)

God wants us to be more like Jesus every day (2 Corinthians 3:18). We can't do anything in this life without Him (John 15-5) but we can do everything with Him ! (Philippians 4:13).

Now, go to church, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching" Hebrews 10:24-25.

So find a good Bible teaching church, read your Bible, ask questions and get to know Jesus...!
